After over 20 years of styling and planning weddings at countless venues — city, beach and country—I suddenly realised that everything needed to create the perfect country wedding was  literally right in front of me.  We live in a magical spot just five minutes from Mudgee on 100 beautiful acres; 80 under established grapevines.  I convinced my wonderful husband, Tim, to carve out a section in the middle of the vineyard where we erected a marquee and landscaped a beautiful courtyard with grassed entertaining areas, open outdoor fire, water features and sculptural gardens.  We draped delicate fairylights, installed dramatic uplighting to illuminate large trees — taking them from majestic  to magical—and created warmth and ambience with underwater lighting in custom water  features.   Then we let Mudgee’s stunning sunsets and rolling hills complete the rest of the picture….and The Vinegrove was born.

We decorate your marquee exactly how you would like it, using all our own props and loads of time, energy and imagination.  I am a trained interior decorator and have a true passion for making things look and feel wonderful.  Although Tim is the ever-practical farmer, with a bit of encouragement,  I’ve discovered he will do most things to make our clients’ dreams come true.

Our final addition was an open-air bar and some stylish, modern powder rooms and the perfect party space was completed!

You can even hire our home for the entire weekend of your wedding, where you can fully enjoy your friends and family  without rushing from place to place. Tim and I will be there alongside you, to help organise, decorate, setup, dismantle and even take away the rubbish when you’re done.
